3. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information or use student data for targeted advertising.
We share personal information only with service providers that support our portal and programs, and only under written contracts that require confidentiality, security, and use limited to our services.
We may disclose information if required by law, and we will notify the school or district before any compelled disclosure unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
We may use de-identified data for research, product improvement, and to demonstrate program effectiveness.
3A. Subprocessors
A current list of our service providers is available upon request. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to that list to school customers.

For school-provisioned accounts, parents or eligible students should submit requests to access, review, correct, or delete student data to their school or district. We will support the school and respond within the timelines required by law and our agreements.
For accounts not provisioned by a school, parents of children under 13 may contact us to review and delete their child’s information.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the services and to meet legal or contractual obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
Upon a school or district’s written request, or when our agreement ends, we will delete or return student data within the required timelines.
6. Security Measures
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with a recognized security framework, and we encrypt personal information at rest and in transit.
We maintain an incident response plan and will notify the school or district without undue delay and within required timelines if we confirm a security incident that affects student data.
7. Cookies and Tracking
If we introduce cookies or similar technologies, we will provide clear notice and obtain the necessary consent from schools or parents before use when required, and we will offer controls consistent with applicable law.
