Procedures:Drone Calibration

After the drone has taken off and landed several times, the gyroscope may become offset. This will cause the drone to always tilt in the same direction during a flight. To fix it, the drone gyroscope can be recalibrated. The steps are as follows:

Step 1

Turn on the drone and the launch controller, and ensure that the connection is successful;

Place the drone on a horizontal and level surface

Step 3

Enter the drone’s on-screen display (OSD) menu by pressing forward on the right joystick and left on the right joystick at the same time. This will bring up the OSD on the FPV goggles.

Step 4

In the MAIN menu, select CONFIG by using the right joystick to select CONFIG, then push the right joystick, right to enter the menu.

Step 5

Use the right joystick to arrow down until you select CALI. Push the right joystick right to begin the calibration. The drone lights will flash blue.

Step 6

When the OK prompt appears and the LED returns to solid blue, the calibration process is complete. The pilot can exit the OSD menu.
