Stage 1 FPV Troubleshooting

Drone flips on take off? | Propeller direction is very important and will cause the drone to flip over | Verify propeller direction |
Drone drifts to one direction? | Moving air? Hair in motors? If not, sensors may need to be calibrated | Perform drift/trim calibration |
Battery does not fit into battery tray? | Wrinkled sticker? If not, puffy or a deformed battery | Follow battery disposal guidelines |
Drone does not respond to controller, showing a red LED indicator? | Throttle is not in the lowest position | Lower throttle to lowest position before arming or binding |
Rogue drone or drone stuck to ceiling or wall? | Motors continue to spin despite collision | Disarm motors, its ok to disarm motors mid flight for problems. |
Drone autolanding? | Low battery mode, indicated by blinking lights | Land and replace batteries |
FPV goggles not working on R band? | LED colors match? Channels are color coordinated. | Long press band until LED on antenna turns red, then short press until the correct color |
Only able to see up with the camera view? | The camera angle is tilted so that when the drone is moving forward the camera angle is flat. | Ensure to pitch the drone forward while applying throttle |
Excessive static or no video from FPV camera? | Channel bleed, channel assignments and interference from other devices can cause static. | Change channel on drone through OSD and on goggles by short pressing channel select to test another channel |
Shaky video signal or drone? | Missing screws can cause a wobble in the video signal. | Inspect and replace any missing or loosened screws |
No video signal from any drone? | Drones come preset to A band, channel 3. | Change the channel on the goggles to band A channel 3 using the band/channel select button. Video should be displayed. |
