In this activity, students use IR sensors to control a drone with landing pads. Students They maneuver the drones without touching them, learning about sensor technology and basic physics like motion and reaction.

Preflight Inspections
Step 1
Set up the circle gate. take off area. Place team members around the course even distributed with landing pads.
Step 2
Have pilots begin the binding procedure one at a time.
Step 3
Pilots should take off and fly towards the first team member. Once the pilot is in position, activate sensor mode by pressing the button located on the top left bumper of the controller. Pilots should release controls and allow the students with landing pads to control the drone.
Do not touch or hit the drones with the landing pads.
Step 4
Students with landing pads will then attempt to move the drone using the IR sensor towards the next closest team member to the circle gate.
Step 5
One point is recieved for each time the drone moves from a gesture until it passes through the circle gate.
