Preflight Inspections
Step 1
Lay out as many landing pads as you have pilots.
Step 2
Have pilots begin the binding procedure one at a time.
Step 3
Once the music begins, have the pilots take off and fly around. Pilots should not hover over landing pads. Inflatable gates can be used to set a flight path.

Randomly pause the music. Once paused pilots should attempt to land on a landing pad.
Step 5
Pilots who land on a landing pad (1 per drone), receives a point. One landing gear must be on the pad to count as a point. If two drones are on the same landing pad, the drone with the most landing gear on the landing pads receivs the point.
Step 6
Before pilots take back off, remove one landing pad. Then restart the music and have the pilots take off again. Repeat these rounds until only one landing pad is left.
Step 7
Repeat this activity with each group and track their scores on the included student score sheet.
